One of our veteran employee’s 50^th birthday was this month and we had to take advantage of it! The team went out of their way to make Todd’s “Over the Hill” birthday memorable for him. From the front doors, through the lobby, up the grand staircase and through the makeshift winding path to his desk, you couldn’t help but know it was Todd’s big day. Veiled with streamers, zoned off with hazard cones, plastered with warning signs and, of course, topped-off with a super-embarrassing (and much-loved) photo line-up of Todd’s greatest moments. It was truly a sight to behold. And if that wasn’t enough, the pièce de résistance was his “Grade A” mullet captured perfectly in his senior picture. That image will go down in Carsforsale.com history, it may even grace the front of the illustrious Christmas book, and that’s saying a lot!

It was a great time exorbitantly decorating and poking a little fun at Todd for his 50^th. Although, the main idea was celebrating how much we appreciate Todd. This was the team’s way of honoring him for all that he has done over his life and for our company. So, we wanted to thank Todd for all his hard work he does for Carsforsale.com and hope that he had a great day celebrating with all of us. Plus, an extra thank you to his family for gracing us with all the images, especially the image of his majestic mane of the past!

When we spoke to the man himself, Todd expressed that he was pleasantly surprised at the thoughtfulness of his coworkers, stating-

I expected to have my desk decorated, but not the entryway and all the way to my desk. The team went out of their way to make it a special day. I still have not forgiven my wife and mom for providing the young photos…
