A Cars For Sale Christmas
It was another festive month at Cars For Sale. It’s perhaps the most festive time of the year everywhere and it’s the same here. From handing out gifts through Secret Santa to unique and colorful outfits, the holiday spirit was alive in our work family all month long.
One of the best parts about December is walking around the building and taking notice of all of the Christmas decorations. The maintenance staff unloads more than a dozen totes of wreaths, tinsel, and stockings. They decorate no less than five Christmas trees in various parts of the building. It’s truly majestic!
The Creative Web department not only built a cardboard cutout fireplace for their own Christmas tree, but they had one of several Secret Santa gift exchanges along with a grilled cheese lunch and taco bar.

Some unique and fun clothes were unpacked from the dresser drawers and brought out of the closets for the company-wide Ugly Sweater Contest. It wasn’t just the sweaters, though. People went all out, accessorizing their outfits with hats, scarves, overalls, and suit jackets.
Those were all impressive enough, but the winner went above and beyond to secure the most votes. Rod B., from Sales, cut up his sweater, added a light-up string of lights to his hood, and decorated his beard with miniature Christmas ornaments!

The fun outfits didn’t stop there, either. Several team members captured attention with colorful clothing and sparkly apparel during our day-long Christmas celebration.
The all-day annual Christmas party starts off with some hot cocoa and includes a catered lunch. These both give everyone the chance to converse, but there are also several moments built into the day so people can reflect on the meaning of the season.
With that in mind, Cars For Sale has a special tradition of providing every employee with a yearbook so they can look back on what happened over the last 12 months. Memories and fun times are forever captured and documented.

Another of those fun moments happened in the afternoon when the entire staff split into a dozen teams and competed for cash prizes in a 20-question round of Christmas Trivia. The winning team correctly answered questions about the movie Elf, Mariah Carey classics, and even did some math with the Twelve Days of Christmas song.

No matter how people celebrate at home, employees at Cars For Sale are always provided with several different ways of participating in the joy of the season.
