From Pies to Easter Eggs
From pies to prizes, the past few weeks at Cars For Sale have been full of spring energy.
In mid-March, we held our 5th annual Pi Day pie-eating competition. It’s exactly what it sounds like.
Over a dozen different team members dove face-first into chocolate silk and banana cream pies. With the clock ticking down, it was a race to see who could put away the most pie in 3 minutes and 14 seconds. Goggles, ponchos, and even a few “pie beards” didn’t escape the mess.
When the clock stopped, Nicholas ended up setting a new Cars For Sale pie-eating record, finishing off 34.1 ounces of pie!
“I didn’t know what to expect – other than being advised by coworkers that quite a few competitors take it very seriously. I listened to the advice of my team and used their strategy to prepare, which in the end, paid off. It was by far the craziest 3 minutes and 14 seconds of my life. Shoutout to all the competitors, who were inspiring and made it an awesome event.”

Just a couple of weeks later, an early Easter surprise brought a different kind of fun to the season.
We had a little stop from the Easter bunny. Fully geared up and ready to deliver, this rabbit had a basket full of Easter eggs. Inside each egg was a number that corresponded to a prize, so every team member in the office walked away with a treat. Those “treats” ranged from chocolate to gift cards to family game sets to a new air fryer.
As always, these yearly celebrations made for several memorable moments around the office.
