Lobby Bean Bags: The Real Big Game
The big game may not have been a back-and-forth classic, but there was a solid showdown in the Cars For Sale lobby. The 5th Annual Bean Bag Tournament brought together 34 teams and 68 players for an afternoon of skill, strategy, and a little bit of luck.
Teams were randomly assigned in the morning, so reigning champions, rookie players, and hobbyists were thrown together in different pairings. Six teams battled at a time, while onlookers had their choice of popcorn, pretzels, cheese puffs, and other snacks.
The final round featured Preston and Caroline against Eric and Carter. The finals didn’t last long, but not because they weren’t evenly matched. It was because they all kept getting 3-point shots. In a few minutes, Preston and Caroline pulled ahead, reaching 21 points. They claimed the victory, bragging rights, and framed certificates.
“Random draw partners always comes down to a bit of luck, and my partner, Caroline, stepped up at the perfect time in the championship match against Eric and Carter.”

Meanwhile, Cars For Sale now has a three-time champion:
“I’m very fortunate to claim my 3rd bean bag title. I’ve only played once or twice since last year’s tournament. For me, it’s like riding a bike and muscle memory helped me find a good rhythm.”

From the first toss to the final shot, the energy was high throughout the afternoon. The 5th Annual Bean Bag Tournament delivered fast-paced games, teamwork, and a few jaw-dropping precision tosses.
