Job Overview

As copywriter, you will help transform ideas into words! We’re looking for a happy, hard-working, and unicorn-loving individual who’s passionate about crafting compelling content that spans channels and creates meaningful connections with our audiences. At their core, the copywriter is responsible for understanding a concept or product and uniquely translating it, with SEO and other best practices in mind, in order to deliver a succinct, persuasive, and human message. Must be willing to have fun, dig in, and be curious!

What We Need You To Do

  • Write clear, concise, and compelling copy that delivers on our brand voice
  • Write effective and engaging communication in short- and long-form
  • Support marketing material development including social media, website content, email content, marketing collateral, and much more
  • Develop long-form blog content
  • Collaborate with designers, marketing strategists and social media gurus on large- and small-scale marketing projects (e.g. email campaigns and landing pages)
  • Understand different voices and styles that appeal to various target markets
  • Help determine what makes products appealing to consumers and articulate the benefits in clear, compelling ways
  • Use SEO principles to maximize copy’s reach
  • Check copy for spelling and grammatical errors

You’ll Also Need

  • 1+ year of writing experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, marketing, communication, or related field
  • Proven experience as a copywriter or related role
  • Knowledge of online content strategy and creation
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Experience with developing SEO minded copy
  • Creativity, imagination, and a collaborative spirit
  • Familiarity with commonly used style guides
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills
  • Comfort level working in a fast-paced environment both independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to receive feedback and use it to grow and improve as a member of our marketing team
