Carsforsale.com is seeking a Security Facilities Specialist to join our growing team. You will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe work environment for team members and assist with general light duty maintenance.

What You Will Do

• Protect company’s property and team members by maintaining a safe and secure work environment
• Process and administer badges and building access authorization
• Observe work environment for potential disorder and report situations and observations to Human Resources or proper emergency departments as needed
• Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences
• Monitor and control access at building entrance
• Monitor HVAC, fire alarms/testing, plumbing, electrical, general utilities
• Watch alarm systems and video cameras
• Report issues and process refund requests for vending machines
• Light construction work
• Respond to reports of damage or breakage of business owned property
• Initiate and maintain company inventory counts of office workstations
• Respond in a timely manner to the requests of the business for actions related to facilities
• Manage site visits for vendors, repairman, maintenance workers
• Process deliveries and communicate to the appropriate recipient
• Other responsibilities and/or duties as assigned to meet the needs and/or goals of the business

What You Will Need

• High school diploma or equivalent and/or relevant experience
• Ability to operate security surveillance and video monitoring equipment
• Must have basic computer skills
• Effective listening skills are needed
• Integrity and professionalism
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Must have basic construction skills and general knowledge of HVAC, maintenance, and equipment handling
• Strong written communication skills through email with communicating details and expectations within the company are essential
• Must be self-motivated, persistent, and have the ability to prioritize workloads
